We deal with customer-facing and device-facing data. As our Senior Backend Developer you will work on processing the incoming sensor data. You will take care of the observability of all devices in the field and the data pipeline. You will build tools that detect and solve problems to ensure a high service level. Furthermore, you will create software that can handle billions of data points from our sensors and make them available for the customer-facing development.
Strong communication skills in English or German
Strong hands on experience in backend development and data processing
Understanding of test-driven development and continuous integration pipelines
Willingness to work on a modern microservice architecture with Docker and Kubernetes
What you'll do:
Maintain and improve the data processing pipeline in Node.js
Make it easy for the application developers to use the sensor data and algorithms and help improving the architecture
Improve the observability and reliability of the data processing platform
